In the information age computers and the internet have become commonplace in both businesses and homes. With the push of a button and a few strokes on a keyboard you can look anything up from the hours of your favorite store to the address of the nearest post office. Even phone numbers, if a website doesn’t exist for the place you’re looking for, can be found with some ease. However despite all this there are still quite a few benefits to having your own personal live mobile assistant in these times. The fact is that there are many sources of information on the internet and it can be difficult to determine which one is the best for every situation. This “information overload” can make it very difficult to find relatively simple information and anyone who has had this difficulty before knows how frustrating it can be.

The most obvious benefit to having access to concierge style services and live directory assistance would have to be the fact that none of the information one would normally be looking for on the internet can be found in just one place. Sure you can use Google and filter through results, hoping to find what you’re looking for. But even when you do find something there isn’t always any indication to assure you that the information is genuine. For example, Google Maps can have outdated map listings, and the Yellow Pages can have outdated phone numbers. Anyone who has ever tried, and failed, to look a phone number up, for example, knows how frustrating this kind of situation can be. You may have to try several different phone numbers before you find the right one, and that’s assuming you do eventually find the right one. With a personal live mobile assistant you wouldn’t have to worry about the authenticity of sources and the reliability of information; you could just simply call them and ask them for the information. Using their systems, similar to how 411 directory assistance will have the most up-to-date information, they can give you the right phone number or whatever other piece of information you’re looking for. It would take you all of one minute to find the information out and you would never need to boot your computer up and spend 10 to 20 minutes, or in some cases even longer, looking for that information. You might try calling directory assistance but every time you do will cost you money, and given the number of searches you’ll do in a month it isn’t economical to dial 411 for information.

Building upon the previous example, the next apparent reason to have access to concierge style services and access to live directory assistance would be convenience. Of course you can spend those 10-20 minutes looking for information but think of how much that adds up over time. How many times in a month do you have to look up information and whilst not really knowing where you’re going to find reliable information? Most people will look for information on the internet several times a week, at least. They might be trying to find a restaurant’s phone number so they can ask for reservations, looking for the hours to a store, trying to locate the nearest pharmacy or doctor, or even doing research as to what stores near them sell what items. All of these things take time and most of us lead busy lives with careers, families, and hobbies. Every time we need a piece of information it isn’t always convenient or even possible to use a computer. If you’re jogging, and you want to know the current score to a baseball or football game, being able to call your personal mobile assistant and ask for information would be extremely convenient. The fact is that you’re not always going to have access to a computer, and even when you do, it may take you a long time to find the information you’re looking for. With access to a phone you could call your live personal mobile assistant; you could also call directory assistance but that would be costly over time. We know your time is valuable, so why not save as much of it as possible to spend on the things that are more important to you?

Finally it should be mentioned that being able to talk to a live human being has its merits. You can’t simply type a question into a search engine and expect a response. You can post a question on a forum or even on a blog but it could be hours or days before someone replies to you. What if you need that information now? You can’t afford to wait that long. For example, let’s say you’re looking for a sushi restaurant; you can call directory assistance, which you pay for every single time, or go to Google maps and search “sushi” and it will give you every single place that has the word sushi in its name or description. You may even get results for places that aren’t even restaurants, but just have sushi in their name or description. Perhaps it is a sushi-grade fish distributor, perhaps it is a design company with sushi in the name, perhaps someone decided to put sushi in the description because people search for sushi a lot. There’s no telling what the results will be, but you can easily see how searching for one thing can give you results you didn’t intend (like searching steak and getting a list of butchers). And then there are searches of a highly specialized nature, for example, if you’re looking for a commercial real estate broker who deals in smaller spaces. How would you search for that on Google Maps? With a live person to talk to you can tell them what you’re looking for, give them your search parameters, and they can vet the search results for you. They’re trained to carefully examine the results to make sure you’re getting exactly what you asked for and nothing else and then give you the correct information. If you have follow-up questions you can ask them as well, something you can’t do with a search engine. For example say you found a high rated sushi restaurant nearby but now you wanted to know their hours, their prices, or even if they serve your favorite type of sushi; you can ask your concierge and they can answer you. If you were using a search engine you would have to start your search all over again.

Normally a service such as having a personal concierge is reserved for high-level executives and the upper-class who may not have time to make reservations and look up information due to their lifestyle. However with Ask On Call this service is available to anyone and everyone for a very affordable rate. We have several more benefits listed on our website for your review, and we would love to hear from you in order to answer any questions you may have about the service. With the amount of times you will need information it is not cheaper to use directory assistance and we allow you to call us an unlimited number of times. In addition, our call center is located right here in the United States so you won’t have to worry about dealing with someone who doesn’t understand what you’re talking about, or not being able to understand them. We take pride in the services we offer and we hope you’ll check us out if you’re looking to make your life a little bit easier and reclaim some of the time that you spend everyday just trying to find information.

Calling 411 or directory assistance from your cell phone can be costly and unproductive. Avoid the problems and call <a href="http://www.askoncall.com/index.html"title="Mobile Concierge Services">mobile concierge services for personal service that goes beyond the phone directory.

Calling 411 or directory assistance from your cell phone can be costly, not to mention a hassle. Here are some problems that you may run into when calling directory assistance that you may be able to avoid by contacting mobile concierge services.

1) Automated phone systems can be a real hassle. The radio, passengers speaking, motor or wind noise, and even your accent can make it hard for an automated system to understand what you are asking for. This commonly causes people to be given the wrong information and still be charged for the call.

2) A live operator can help you to get the exact information that you’re looking for by using their experience to narrow down your search. For example, if you want to call the courthouse, they may know to key in “county clerk” or “traffic court” instead of simply looking for a generic courthouse number that doesn’t exist.

3) Mobile concierge service representatives are often judged on their level of service, not their call times. A regular directory assistance employee is incented to have short call times, getting you off the phone as quickly as possible. Mobile concierge services pride themselves on providing information above and beyond the call of duty. For example, if you ask for the number to the airport, a regular directory assistance person will give you the number. A mobile concierge service representative will ask you if you would like for them to check on flight information for you, make an airline reservation on your behalf, or if you need directions to the airport. The level of service goes above and beyond what you would expect by calling 411.

4) Directory assistance operators generally have a limited amount of information that they can give you over the phone. If you don’t know the exact name of a restaurant, then they simply can’t help you. If you’re looking for China King Restaurant and ask for “China King” they may not come up with any results. A mobile concierge service will pull up all restaurants in the area, can narrow it down by Chinese restaurants, and provide results for all restaurants containing the words “China” or “King”.

5) You can usually only get addresses and phone numbers from a 411 operator. A concierge service can give you restaurant reviews, turn by turn directions, movie times, sold out movie ticket status, pay for your movie tickets online for you, make hotel reservations, and much more. It’s similar to having a personal assistant at your disposal 24/7.

Using <a href="http://www.askoncall.com/index.html"title="Mobile Concierge Services">mobile concierge services is inexpensive, often under $10/month. The amount of money that you spend on 411 <a href="http://www.askoncall.com/index.html"title="Directory Assistance">directory assistance is often wasted with dropped calls, wrong information, or automated systems that don’t deliver. The next time you need help while driving or while you’re away from your computer, try a mobile concierge service instead.

Teen drivers and passengers of teen drivers are at the highest risk of death caused by motor vehicle crashes. New found freedom, the exhilaration of driving, the camaraderie of teenage friends, and the relief of being out from under watchful eyes all fuel the teenage driver and passengers to make dangerous decisions when in a car.

Almost half of teenagers that die in car crashes are not wearing safety belts. Parents are shocked when they hear that their child who has never been in a car without a seatbelt made such a poor choice. We are constantly updating safety equipment in cars, but the safety features can’t help when they are not properly used. Cavalier attitudes and a feeling of invincibility lead to teenagers deciding not to buckle up.

Teenagers are at the highest risk of death and disability caused by motor vehicle accidents than any other age group. There are many factors that contribute to their risk. First on the list of risks is inexperience. Inexperience and immaturity combined causes young drivers to feel bulletproof behind the wheel. They get too cavalier about their skill and are extremely lax when it comes to being cautious on the road. They’ve most likely experienced a lifetime of safety in a car and are not afraid of how easily an accident can happen.

Many teenagers combine racing or speeding, with alcohol and drugs. It feels fun to them to go fast when they are under the influence. It can be impossible to convince them that there is any danger involved in driving under the influence, at all. This puts them in the highest risk category for death caused by drinking and driving.

Teen drivers almost double their risk of a fatal wreck with each additional passenger that they carry. This is because teens are more likely to engage in risky behaviors when in the presence of their friends. It is also because of the many distractions that take place when there are other teens around. Talking, laughing, pointing out things outside of the car, singing, dancing, and socializing in general all contribute to driver distraction. Some states do not allow teenage drivers to carry teenage passengers until they have at least six months of driving experience.

Even when teens are alone the distraction rates are significantly higher than they used to be. The use of cell phones, MP3 players, GPS systems, and even laptops add to the distraction level of many teen drivers.

Many parents are concerned about having their teens be responsible while behind the wheel. The best thing that you can do is to be a good example. Always use your speakerphone or hands-free headset to answer incoming calls that may be important. Pull over if it seems that the conversation cannot wait until you are done driving. Utilize <a href="http://www.askoncall.com/index.html"title="Directory Assistance">directory assistance and mobile concierge services to avoid using the internet, texting, or using a GPS while driving. <a href="http://www.askoncall.com/index.html"title="Mobile Concierge Services">Mobile concierge services can give you turn by turn directions, movie times, flight information, weather reports and more for cheaper than calling 411. Teaching your child responsibility behind the wheel starts with you.
